Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The Faisalabad police set up a special committee on Wednesday to question the people suspected of sexually assaulting, humiliating, and torturing a dental student and to oversee the investigation. Before anything was done, many videos of the attack that were upsetting had gone viral on social media. Now, Celebrities are telling people not to pass these videos around. Celebrities want the right punishment to be given so that this doesn’t happen again.
Ahsan Khan wrote on his Instagram stories, “Rather than sharing the viral video of a young woman who was brutally tortured and embarrassed because she turned down this lowlife’s proposal. It would be better to shame the person who did this and the woman who filmed it all.”
On the same photo-sharing app, actor Bilal Qureshi thanked the police for acting quickly and arresting the main offenders. He also asked why his daughter, who also hurt her friend, hadn’t been arrested yet. “Make the oppressor go viral, not the victim,” he wrote, asking the government to punish them in a way that would make sure no one else ever did something like that again.
