Web Desk (LTN NEWS): All eyes are on today’s federal capital as the PTI starts its long march against the government. The party chairman has called it the “biggest freedom movement” in the country’s history.
Earlier, Pakistan’s highest court had turned down a request from the government to stop the PTI’s long march to the federal capital right away. The additional attorney-general of Pakistan had asked the highest court to stop PTI from marching to Islamabad.
In a special message, Imran said that the “Haqeeqi Azadi Long March” goal was not to get rid of or form a government but to free the country from thieves who had taken power to get their corruption cases dropped.

This is the PTI chair’s second march to Islamabad since he was kicked out of office earlier this year by a vote of no confidence.
Political unrest in Pakistan has also made the economy less stable. International rating agencies are unsure if the current government can stick to its strict economic policies with political pressure and upcoming elections.
The long march will start in Lahore at Liberty Chowk and go through Ferozepur Road, Icchra, Azadi Chowk, Mozang, the side of Data Darbar, and Muridke. It will go through Kamonki, Gujranwala, Daska, Sumbrial, Lala Musa, Khariyan, Gujjar Khan, and Rawalpindi before getting to the federal capital.
