Web Desk (LTN NEWS): During this year’s monsoon season, heavy rains that were “above normal” and never stopped caused nearly 700 deaths and a lot of damage across the country.

Heavy rains caused chaos in many cities by causing floods that flooded low-lying areas and stopped people from going about their daily lives.

During the recent monsoon rains, torrential rains caused flooding in Karachi, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Chitral, Gilgit, and other cities. This killed and hurt people, damaged property, and messed up the power and phone systems.

When it rained a lot, the sewer water mixed with the rainwater to make ponds on the roads and in low-lying areas in Hyderabad.

Heavy rains caused trouble in several cities in Sindh, including Hyderabad.
