Web Desk (LTN NEWS): A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister on the reforms of the agricultural sector, in which 8 sub-committees of different sectors presented recommendations to the Prime Minister, including short, medium, and long-term comprehensive planning.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to implement agricultural reforms in the country on an emergency basis.
The Prime Minister said that the government will provide facilities to the farmers on a priority basis, and will also ensure a timely supply of quality seeds and fertilizers to the farmers at a low cost.
Shahbaz Sharif said that companies selling substandard seeds and pesticides to farmers will be dealt with, the government will provide modern machinery and loans to farmers.
