Web Desk(LTN News): On Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif ordered the appropriate authorities to immediately evacuate tourists from the area who had been left trapped there after the link roads had been damaged by recent flash floods.
A helicopter was dispatched there at the prime minister’s request to transport the tourists in an emergency. The prime minister gave instructions to hasten the process of moving people to safe regions.

The prime minister arrived here to review the losses and rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts.
Additionally, the prime minister gave the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) instructions to repair the damaged roads immediately.

The prime minister spoke with a number of locals and visitors at the event and sought to understand their concerns. He gave them his word that the federal government would do everything in its power to help them in their hour of need.

The prime minister declared that he will oversee each of these actions.
The prime minister expressed his gratitude to the locals during his conversations with them for helping the affected individuals. In these trying times, he claimed, the government will not abandon the affected citizens.
The prime minister expressed his dismay over the decision to permit building along the river’s route.
Political criticism, he added, was not appropriate at this time. He also promised that after a joint survey of the projected losses was done, they would meet down with the provinces, who were like four brothers, to determine their next course of action.
According to the prime minister, after the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award of 2010, the income resources were distributed, with a sizable portion going to the provinces. The remaining award money, however, was used by the federal government to pay employee salaries, interest on foreign debts, and other necessary expenses.
He added that the provinces had received resources through the NFC award and that the federal government will continue to offer all available assistance.
He claimed that the federal government allocated Rs28 billion, which was distributed to flood victims.
The prime minister added that he will request the immediate repair of the damaged roads from the federal minister of communication and the DG FWO in order to restore connection links in the affected districts.
