Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Malala Yousafzai is the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize. On Friday, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met her at the 77th United Nations General Assembly.

PM praised the 25-year-old activist for her work on social issues, especially her work to promote girls’ education on a global scale.

PM also praised Malala’s fund for working with the ministry of education to help girls get an education in the country. He and Malala also talked about the damage caused by the recent floods.

PM Shehbaz was very worried that floods and other problems that had never happened before were making it hard for millions of young children to go to school.

The Pakistani activist said she was still committed to promoting girls’ education and was saddened by the loss, especially the damage to schools caused by the huge floods that followed the monstrous monsoons.

She also posted about the news on Twitter, saying, “We are asking the rest of the world to ease the pressure of debt and help with humanitarian aid right away.”

Floods destroyed tens of thousands of schools, making it impossible for hundreds of thousands of children to go to school. “Funding for emergency schooling, especially for girls, must be part of humanitarian aid,” she added.

Malala, who was attacked by militants, also talked about the Taliban’s presence in Swat and other parts of the northwest. “I also told him how worried I was about the Pakistani Taliban coming back to my hometown of Swat Valley and other places in KP province. Our people can’t deal with more terrorism and moving, so they need to be protected. “Everyone in Pakistan has the right to seek justice and live in peace,” she wrote.
