Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has asked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to go to Qatar for the first time. He will leave for Qatar on Tuesday.
This will be the first time that the prime minister has been to Qatar since he or she took office in April 2022. He will go with a high-level group that includes important members of the cabinet.
During the two-day trip, PM Shehbaz will meet with the Qatari government to talk in depth. The two countries will look at all aspects of their relationship, but they will pay special attention to improving energy cooperation, strengthening trade and investment ties, and finding more jobs for Pakistanis in Qatar.
They will also talk about a number of regional and international issues that are important to both of them.
The PM will also meet with important Qatari and Pakistani business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs while he is in Doha.
He will go to Doha’s “Stadium 974,” where he will learn about all the work the Qatari government has done to get ready for the FIFA World Cup.
Pakistan and Qatar have close and friendly brotherly ties that are based on their shared faith, mutual trust and understanding, and working closely together. The relationship is marked by close coordination on regional and international issues and growing cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
There are more than 200,000 Pakistanis living in the country in the Middle East. These people are helping the two countries get ahead and grow economically.
The Pakistan-Qatar relationship is marked by regular meetings between top leaders. PM Shehbaz’s trip to Qatar will give the two countries a new push to work together in more areas and make their growing economic partnership even stronger.
