Web Desk (LTN NEW): Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the senior vice chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said on Saturday that PM Shahbaz Sharif’s speech at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was a “cut-and-paste” version of what former PM Imran Khan had said.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the former foreign minister and senior vice chairman of the PTI, said in a statement, “It was a copy-and-paste of Imran Khan’s speech.”

Qureshi said that Shehbaz talked about occupied Kashmir, Afghanistan, and Islamophobia in the same way that the PTI chairman did at the UN.

“Perhaps he copied and pasted a speech that Imran Khan had given before.”

The leader of the PTI said that it was a nice thing for the prime minister to remind the developed world that they were to blame for climate disasters all over the world.

“But what have Shehbaz Sharif and his brother, Nawaz Sharif, done about climate change?” Qureshi, whose party opposes the PML-N very strongly, asked.

The PTI leader said that if the PPP and PML-N governments of the past 40 years had built water storage facilities, Pakistan would not be in such a bad spot right now.

“Imran Khan, on the other hand, did a few things. His Billion Tree Tsunami project was praised around the world “The top PTI leader also said.

This month, huge parts of Pakistan were hit by devastating floods that killed more than 1,500 people and caused $30 billion worth of damage.

During his speech at the UNGA, PM Shehbaz asked world leaders why his country was paying for global warming.

“Pakistan has never seen such a clear and terrible sign of how global warming affects the world. Life in Pakistan will never be the same again, “he told the world’s leaders. “

Nature has let loose on Pakistan, and we haven’t even thought about our carbon footprint.”
