Leaders of the PTI don’t seem to like the way PML-Pervez Q’s Elahi is running the Punjab government. They have expressed disappointment and told their party to leave this “homeopathic” government.
After a terrorism case was filed against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and arrest warrants were sent out, the party leaders were even angrier.
Fawad Chaudhry’s tweet got a response from Azhar Mashwani, a leader of the PTI who was recently named Media Coordinator for CM Punjab. He said, “No doubt. We need to get rid of the weak government and act strongly.”
Mashwani’s comments were in response to Fawad’s comments, in which he criticized the PTI governments in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for “disappointing” party workers.
“I want our provincial governments to know that people didn’t vote for them just so they could become ministers.”You have disappointed the workers, whether it was the attempt to arrest Imran Khan, what happened on May 25, or the arrest and torture of Shahbaz Gill and other political workers,” he said.
Fawad said that the people who rule just a 25-kilometer area of Islamabad are “rogues.”
It’s important to note that the Punjab government has taken action against police officers who beat up PTI workers on May 25 in order to stop the PTI’s Azadi March.
Even though cases have been filed against the leaders of the PML-N, none of them have been arrested yet, which has angered the core of the PTI.
In the face of mounting pressure on the PTI, CM Pervez Elahi met with Imran Khan on Monday at his home in Banigala and gave him the assurance of the PML-unwavering Q’s support.
