Ruling party can’t take on Imran Khan in politics: Asad Umar

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Asad Umar, Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), said on Wednesday that the ruling coalition, which is led by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), can’t compete with PTI Chairman Imran Khan in politics, so they are plotting against him.

Umar said at a news conference in Islamabad that Khawaja Asif’s claim that the PTI is running a campaign against the people who died in the helicopter crash in Balochistan as part of a plot was “ridiculous.”

“Let the whole country know that this is a very bad plot.”There is a plan to make PTI fight with the military,” Umar said. “This plot is bad for Pakistan. I’m telling the PDM that they’re making a big mistake, and that this will ruin their political career.

Umar said that the politics of the PDM were about to end. “They can’t beat Imran Khan in politics, so they are making plans to control him through plots against him,” he said. “Today, people from every language and every part of the world stand with Imran Khan.”

After meeting Dr. Shehbaz Gill in the Adiala Jail, Umar spoke to the press. He said that Gill was being tortured in order to get her to say bad things about Imran Khan. Umar said, “I’ve met Shehbaz Gill, and he’s fine.”

He also said that the statement that was used to build the case against Gill was broadcast live. He also said that the prosecution was using the fact that Gill’s phone was found as a reason to keep him in jail until he gave the statement against Imran.

“The police took Gill’s phone on the same day he was arrested. Gill is being held in jail to force him to say bad things about Imran Khan. But at today’s meeting, I told Shehbaz Gill that the party leaders and workers are with him.

Umar, who was the planning minister in the previous government under Imran Khan, also told reporters that Gill was going to be asked for bail. He also said that Gill would get medical care after getting out on bail.
