Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Federal Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said that Pakistan is no longer in danger of going bankrupt because of the current coalition government.

In an interview, Miftah criticizes Imran Khan by saying the PTI leader put the country at risk of going into default.

But Pakistan is not in danger of going broke right now, he said.

Ismail Miftah said, “Flash floods across the country made the economic situation worse, but we’ll run the economy well, and the country’s economy won’t be in danger.”

Finance minister also said that the government would take steps to make the currency market more stable in the next four to five days.

He said that some banks took advantage of the situation and sold dollars for more than they were worth. Prime Minister has taken these banks very seriously and asked the Governor of the State Bank for a report in two days, the minister said.

Also, notices have been sent to eight banks about this, and they will also be fined.
