Web Desk (LTN NEWS): ‘TikTok Now’ is the newest way to have fun and connect with others. It’s a daily photo and video experience where users can share their most real moments with the people who matter most to them. In a statement, the video-sharing app said, “TikTok Now brings the authenticity to create a whole new experience that connects communities with those close to them.”
TikTok Now lets users and their friends record what they’re doing right now with the front and back cameras on their devices. Users will get a daily reminder to take a 10-second video or a still photo to share what they’re doing quickly and easily.
The video-sharing site said that it will try out TikTok Now over the next couple of weeks.
“Both TikTok and the new TikTok Now the app can be used to get to TikTok Now. In some countries, TikTok Now may be part of TikTok or a separate app that can be downloaded. It may also be available in both ways. TikTok will keep improving the user experience as they learn more about how the TikTok community uses this new creative format “the message said.

The feature was made with the community’s safety and privacy in mind. In its statement, TikTok said that creators have the power to decide who can see or interact with their content.
“They can block people and decide which comments will show up on their posts. And if someone sees something they think might be against the Community Guidelines, they can report it for review.
TikTok also said that it has taken steps to help make sure that teens are safe and healthy.
The statement said that if someone under 16 makes an account to use the TikTok Now app, it will be private by default, and anyone under 18 will not be able to share their content to the Explore feed.
“People between the ages of 13 and 15 will only be able to comment on Friends’ videos,” said TikTok. “This will help protect them from unwanted interactions.” People 18 and older have more sharing options.
“In addition to sharing with mutual friends, they can opt to share their posts with the broader TikTok Now community based on the privacy settings they have chosen. “Friends can see” is the default setting, “the message said.
If a user chooses “Friends can view,” anyone who follows them and who they follow back can see their TikTok Now posts. If they choose “Everyone,” however, anyone in their area can see their posts.
The app told its users, “Remember that people who don’t follow you or who you don’t follow back can’t comment or interact with your TikTok Now posts.”
