Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Sources say that during the meeting in London, PM Shehbaz will give Nawaz an update on the country’s economic and political situation. PM Shehbaz Sharif is set to meet with PML-N leader and his elder brother Nawaz Sharif for three hours in London.
According to the details, PM Shehbaz Sharif will go to the UK for two days. While there, he will represent Pakistan at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and meet the former PM.
Sources with knowledge of the situation say that PM Shehbaz will go to England on Sunday, a day after he finishes his trip to Uzbekistan, where he attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of States (CHS) summit.
PM Shehbaz will go back to Pakistan on Monday, not long after attending the state funeral for the late Queen, who died at her Balmoral Castle home on September 8 at the age of 96.
During the meeting in London, PM Shehbaz is expected to tell Nawaz about the country’s economic and political situation.
Since it was formed in April, the coalition government hasn’t been able to get political and economic stability. Decisions like raising gas prices and letting inflation soar have made Shehbaz Sharif’s government look bad.

In late August, senior analyst Suhail Warraich said that Nawaz is not happy with how either Shehbaz or Finance Minister Miftah Ismail are doing their jobs. Warraich said that Nawaz wants Shehbaz to look at how he runs the country.
Warraich also said that Nawaz had asked him many times to call Shahbaz and tell him to rethink his economic policies.
“Shehbaz should tell the public what his economic plans are,” the PML-N founder was quoted as saying by the journalist.
When asked about his meeting with Nawaz in London, Warraich said that Nawaz Sharif is very unhappy with the way the current government handles the economy. He said that Miftah’s performance doesn’t make Nawaz happy.
The analyst said that Nawaz said over and over, “I had already told you that you shouldn’t form a government and should hold general elections.” Warraich said, “It looks like Nawaz Sharif has decided that he only wants Ishaq Dar to handle economic policy.”
Warraich said that Nawaz wants Dar to work on the economy. He also said that Nawaz doesn’t seem to trust Miftah because he thinks that Miftah doesn’t know much about economic policies.
Leaders of the ruling coalition hold a call
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Asif Ali Zardari, and Nawaz, who lead the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), talked on the phone about the current political situation in the country.
PDM leaders didn’t agree with PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s call for general elections to be held right away. Instead, they made it clear that the ruling alliance would hold general elections next year after the economy has stabilized and flood victims have been helped.
They said that Khan’s long march would make it impossible to set an election date. They swore that everyone should get the same amount of justice.
Fazl, the leader of the PDM, called the head of the PML-N and the co-chairman of the PPP.
Sources say that the three leaders also talked about how to stop Khan’s new call for protests.
