Web Desk (LTN NEWS): On August 14, Pakistan will celebrate its 75th Independence Day with the usual zeal and enthusiasm. There will be a number of events to show how hard our ancestors and national heroes worked to get a separate country.
Special prayers and a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and a 21-gun salute in all provincial capitals will mark the start of the day. At 8:58 a.m., sirens will sound all over the country to make a dramatic pause before the 9 a.m. ceremony to raise the flag.
Different public and private departments will hold special events and activities, like seminars, discussion programs, photo exhibits, painting, poetry, national songs, and debate competitions, to honor the work of leaders of the Pakistan Movement and the sacrifices of national heroes.
Like in other cities, all the main roads and avenues in the federal capital will be decorated with flags, banners, and buntings to make them look festive. To mark this important event, the city’s most important public and private buildings will also be lit up.
On this day, both print and electronic media will highlight the work of the “heroes of the Pakistan Movement” and pay tribute to their extraordinary efforts to make Pakistan a reality.
The Islamabad Capital Territory Police and the provincial governments have come up with a plan for how to handle the traffic that will help people and keep them safe.
Several events have been planned by literary and cultural groups to mark the day. As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) will put on a number of events.
In honor of Independence Day, the Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) would hold seminars.
In the same way, both public and private schools will hold activities like competitions, events, and sessions to teach students about the historical struggle that led to the creation of Pakistan.
With a lot of Jashan-i-Azadi stands selling dresses, flags, bunting, pin badges, toys, and other items to attract young people and children, the capital city has taken on a green and white color scheme.
Since Independence Day has become a festival in the country, many brands, online stores, restaurants, taxi services, and even electronics companies are offering great deals to add to the celebration.
