Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Imran Khan, who used to be Prime Minister, wants everyone, especially young people, to go to the big Haqeeqi Azadi Gathering on August 13 at the Lahore Hockey Ground.
On August 13, 2022, PTI will hold a power show at the Lahore Hockey Ground for haqeeqi azaadi jalsa and to mark Pakistan’s 75th birthday. Leaders of the PTI say that this Jalsa is a big part of their “Haqeeqi Azaadi Journey,” and that they are getting close to their goal.
Imran Khan said, “I invite all Pakistanis, especially our young people, to join us in Lahore on August 13 at night for our Haqeeqi Azadi jalsa and celebrations of Pakistan’s 75th birthday.” Sources say that Imran Khan will show the nation his plans and strategies for the future to fight “fascism” and show the way to real independence.
PTI had already given the federal government one month to set a date for general elections. Imran Khan, who used to be Prime Minister, said, “Only early elections can end Pakistan’s economic and political crisis.” Khan said, “Our party will keep protesting against the government that was brought in until the country holds elections.”
Originally, the Jalsa was going to take place at the Islamabad Parade Ground. PTI moved it to Lahore Hockey Ground later. Dr. Yashmin Rashid, a top leader of the PTI, said that the party would make history at the hockey stadium ground.
She also said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is working hard to give real freedom to the people of Pakistan, but that everyone must show their opposition to the government that was brought in by joining us at the Haqeeqi Azadi rally in Lahore.
On Friday, August 12, 2022, in Lahore, PTI Chairman Imran Khan will meet with CM Punjab Pervaiz Elahi before the PTI Azadi rally. During his trip to Lahore, Khan is also expected to lead a meeting of the Punjab cabinet and look over plans for a public event on August 13.
