Web Desk (LTN NEWS): According to the Department of Public Relations of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid an official visit to the United Arab Emirates in which he was awarded the Order of Union, the second highest honor of the Emirates.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief met the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in which they discussed mutual interests, bilateral defense, and security cooperation, while also discussing the regional security situation in the Middle East.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was awarded the Medal of Excellence by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia on 26 June 2022 and was awarded the Bahraini Order First Class Award by the Crown Prince of Bahrain on 9 January 2021.
In addition, on October 5, 2019, Jordan awarded the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa with the Order of Military Merit Award and on June 20, 2017, he was awarded the Turkish Legion of Merit Award, while the Army Chief was congratulated by Russia on December 27, 2018.
