Web Desk (LTN NEWS): On Sunday in the federal capital, an application for a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan was sent in. The application says that Khan encouraged people to rebel against state institutions.

Advocate Zia Ur Rahman filed the application at the Model Police Station Ramna. In it, he accused Imran of using hate speech against the army, the courts, and police officers at yesterday’s PTI rally in F-9 park in Islamabad (Saturday).

Advocate Zia-ur-Rahman said that the former prime minister is “making public pressure” so that decisions will be made in favor of his party and workers.

The petition said that Imran Khan said on Saturday that the PTI will file a case against Islamabad’s Inspector General (IG) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, DIG, and Additional District and Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry, who remanded the accused PTI leader Shahbaz Gill.

Rahman said that the threat to sue the judge was an “act of terrorism.” He said that Imran was getting in the way of a good judge doing her job.

The application also said that the PTI leader’s speech at the party rally had hurt the dignity and feelings of both the judiciary and the bar. It asked for his arrest because of this.

But the SHO at Ramna Police Station, Shahid Zaman, said that an incident had not been reported because it happened in F-9 Park, which is in the area of Margalla Police Station.

It’s important to know that live broadcasts of Imran Khan’s speeches were banned by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) on Saturday.

The media watchdog said that the ousted PM’s recorded speeches could only be shown after an effective delay system was put in place. This was to make sure that the speeches were being watched and edited in accordance with Pemra laws.
