Web Desk (LTN News): In the Election Commission, a 4-member bench headed by the Chief Election Commissioner heard the petition filed by 6 members of the National Assembly for the disqualification of Imran Khan, in which Imran Khan’s lawyer Barrister Gohar appeared in the Election Commission.
In his arguments, Imran Khan’s lawyer said that the reference of the Speaker of the National Assembly is already under hearing in the Election Commission, so the application on behalf of 6 MNAs on the Tosha Khana case has become ineffective.
Imran Khan’s lawyer said that the hearing on the reference of the Speaker National Assembly in the Tosha Khana case is scheduled for August 29.
The Election Commission dismissed the petition filed by 6 members of the National Assembly for the disqualification of Chairman PTI on the arguments of Imran Khan’s lawyer.
