Web Desk (LTN NEWS): During the flood relief efforts, Pakistan Army Aviation flew 200 helicopter missions to different parts of the country to rescue people who were stuck and to deliver food and medicine.
A news release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that in the last 24 hours, 1,991 people who were stuck were rescued and 162.6 tonnes of aid were sent to people who were affected by the floods.
Over 50,000 people have been moved from disaster-stricken areas to safer ones so far. But in flood-hit areas, 147 relief camps were open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
So far, more than 60,000 people have been treated and given free medicine for 3-5 days, and 221 collection points for flood relief items have been set up all over the country. Also, more than 1,350 tons of food, medicine, and other things that people need to live were brought in.
