Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Thomas Suozzi, and Congressman Alexander N. Green from the United States met with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday, according to the ISPR.
During the meeting, they talked about issues that were important to both sides, the security situation in the region, and how the two countries could work together in different areas, the ISPR said.

The visiting members of Congress from the US were saddened by the damage caused by the floods in Pakistan and sent their condolences to the families of those who died. They told the people of Pakistan that the US would help them in their time of need.
ISPR said that US officials liked what Pakistan was doing to keep the region stable and promised to do what they could to improve cooperation with Pakistan on many levels.
COAS thanked the US for its help and said again that help from Pakistan’s international partners was needed to save and help flood victims recover.
