Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Hours before a five-judge larger bench of IHC was to resume hearing a contempt of court case against Imran Khan, on Thursday morning for permission to submit written arguments in the case.
In his new appeal, Imran Khan said that the Constitution says that the high court cannot act on its own. The reasons why the contempt case shouldn’t be heard should be written down.

“The written arguments will also be explained during the course of the proceedings,” read the plea.
The contempt of court case against the PTI chairman Imran Khan will be heard again today at 2:30 pm by a larger bench of five judges from the IHC.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah is in charge of the bench, which also includes Justices Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, and Babar Sattar.
Imran Khan, who is the leader of the PTI, will go to court in his own right.
