Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The application says that the former premier is ready to help with the investigation and has never been convicted of a crime.
Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), asked the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday for bail before he is arrested. He was charged with terrorism for making threats against an additional sessions court judge.
In the bail application filed before Imran was arrested, lawyers Babar Awan and Faisal Chaudhry said that he had never been in trouble with the law before.
It asked the high court to approve the application and said that the former prime minister was ready for any investigation.
On the other hand, sources at the registrar’s office say that the RO objected to Imran Khan’s request for protective bail in three ways. The office said that Imran didn’t have his biometrics taken and that he went to the high court instead of an anti-terrorism court. They also said that they didn’t get a certified copy of the terrorism case against him.
