Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa spoke by phone with Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
The military’s media arm said that the commander-in-chief was saddened by the damage caused by Pakistan’s worst floods ever and sent his condolences to the families of the people who died.
He gave his full support to the people of Pakistan and praised the Pakistan Army’s efforts to help people in flood-affected areas.
In the same statement, the COAS thanked Bahrain for its help and said again that “assistance from our brotherly countries will be crucial for rescuing and helping the victims.”
