Malala visits Karachi school during flood solidarity visit

Web Desk(LTN News): Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani education campaigner, met with students at a school in Karachi, a southern port city, on Tuesday to discuss the importance of promoting education throughout the nation, particularly for girls.

According to reports in the local media, the Nobel Prize winner visited the Government Elementary College of Education in Azizabad, Karachi, and emphasised the importance of raising the standard of instruction.

According to a representative for the Malala fund, Malala and her father were in a South Asian nation to draw attention to the effects of severe flooding and to emphasise the urgent need for humanitarian relief.

As part of the Malala Fund’s flood relief operations, Malala, the global face of the struggle for girls’ education, returned to Pakistan and received an emergency grant to support relief efforts as well as the welfare of girls and young women there.

Ten years after being attacked by the Taliban because of her support for girls’ education, the Nobel laureate—who was then living in Britain—returned to the South Asian country.
