Web Desk (LTN NEWS): According to the press release, during its first weekend in theatres, the biggest Pakistani film in the Punjabi language brought in Pakistani Rupees 50.91 crores, which is about US$2.3 million. The film Bilal Lashari directed has made more money than any other film in Pakistani history.
Produced by Encyclopedia and Lashari films in partnership with AAA Motion Pictures and its distributors Mandviwalla Entertainment in Pakistan and Moviegoers Entertainment in other countries, the film’s presenting partner in Pakistan is Geo Films, the country’s biggest media company.
The Legend of Maula Jatt was shown on over 500 screens in 25 countries worldwide. This was the most and widest release of any Pakistani or Punjabi film.
The movie made Pakistani Rs. 11.27 crores (US$ 526,902) in its home country. It made £315,000 in its first weekend (four days) in 79 places in the UK. This is the most money any film made in Pakistan or the Punjabi language has ever made in its first weekend in the UK. It opens at number 9 on the UK Box Office Top 10 list.
The Legend of Maula Jatt made CA$324,000 in Canada, which put it at No. 6 at the Canadian Box Office. North America has raised more than $600,000 so far.
The Legend of Maula Jatt made more than $515,000 in the UAE in just four days and reached Number 1 at the UAE Box Office, which shows how much people love the movie. Australia (AU$250,000), Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and South East Asia are also places performers go.

The Legend of Maula Jatt appeared in theatres worldwide on October 13, 2022. Along with making a lot of money at the box office, the movie opened to rave reviews and praise from critics, who praised Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, and Ali Azmat for their outstanding performances.
