Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday that COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa spoke by phone with US Secretary of Defense General (ret) Lloyd James Austin.
The military’s media arm said that during the call, COAS and US official Lloyd talked about issues of mutual interest, regional stability, and how to work together on defense and security.

ISPR said that US defense secretary was sad about the floods in Pakistan, which have caused a lot of damage. Austin also sent his condolences to the families of those who died in the floods and said that he would do anything he could to help the people of Pakistan.
Austin also praised the Pakistan Army’s efforts to rescue and help people in flood-hit areas, according to the statement. Austin also promised to do what he could to improve cooperation with the flood-hit country on all levels.
