Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The COAS went to the Army Center of Emerging Technologies and the Cyber Division. General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), went to see the Army Cyber Command on Friday, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media branch said that the COAS also went to the Army Cyber Command’s Cyber Division and Army Center of Emerging Technologies.
“The way wars look and feel is changing. Future wars will be based on firepower and cyber, so we need to improve our skills and abilities in these areas, the COAS said.
“The newly created Cyber Command will gradually be linked to the Tri-Services level, and it will also be a part of national cyber initiatives to create synergy at the national level,” the COAS said.
In addition, the statement said that Commander Army Cyber Command Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor met the COAS when he arrived. Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Lieutenant General Azhar Abbas, and other high-ranking Army officers were also there.
