Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Friday, Qamar Zaman Kaira, who is an advisor to the prime minister on Kashmir issues, said that the government would hold the next general elections in 2023 as planned.
He told PTV that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders are wasting people’s time by talking about things that don’t matter. He said that the people in charge of the PTI were using national institutions for their own benefit.
He said that Imran Khan had said bad things about the people in charge of the institutions. Qamar Zaman Kaira told the leaders of the PTI that they should use polite words and methods to solve political problems.
In response to a question about Imran Khan’s plans to visit Sindh, he said that the PTI leaders should go to the provinces to help people who have been affected by flooding.
In response to the foreign funding case, he said that the election commission had made reports against the PTI leadership. In response to a question about Tosha Khana, he said that there should be rules and laws so that everyone follows them and fights don’t happen. In response to another question about ties with other countries, he said that the PTI’s previous government had some problems when it came to strengthening ties, but that the current government was working hard to improve ties with all countries.
