Karachi (LTN NEWS): A hand grenade exploded in the police headquarters located in the Garden area of Karachi, as a result of which 2 officers were martyred on the spot while 2 officers were injured.
According to police sources, the blast took place in the headquarters corner where a grenade exploded allegedly due to negligence.
According to the police, 40-year-old police officer Shahzad and 45-year-old Sabir Shaheed were killed in the blast, while police constable Ali Gohar and sub-inspector Saeed were injured in the blast.
Police sources say that the injured have been shifted to the hospital for immediate medical assistance while an investigation into the incident has been started.
