Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The former prime minister asked the ruling coalition at a public rally in Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium, “Why are they afraid of new elections?” He also said that it was because they knew that in open elections, they would lose.
On Sunday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan lashed out at his political rivals, saying that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari wanted to pick the army chief because if a “strong and patriotic army chief” came, they would be asked about the money they stole.
“The second reason is that in November there will be a new army chief. Because they stole public money, Zardari and Nawaz want their favorite to be the next army chief, he said. They’re afraid that patriotic army chief will ask them about their loot when he comes”, he said.
Criticizing the “imported rulers,” he said, “[Prime Minister] Shehbaz Sharif, his brother [PML-N supremo] Nawaz Sharif, and [PPP Co-Chairperson] Asif Ali Zardari are involved in laundering public money abroad.”
The head of the PTI said that “his government was overthrown by a foreign plot when exports were doing well, agricultural production was at a record high, and the economy was doing well.”
“The situation has changed now that unemployment, gas prices, and electricity rates are all going up,” he said.

“The leader of the PTI said that if he got into power, he would build big dams to stop floods.”
He said that his government’s big plan to plant a billion trees would lessen the effects of climate change.
“I will soon hold another telethon to raise billions of rupees again for the flood victims,” he said. He said that more dams needed to be built to protect the country from floods in the future.
After 50 years, our government built 10 dams. The drainage system of the country needs to be fixed right away. He said that the PTI government had planted 10 billion trees to help Pakistan deal with the bad effects of climate change.
The former prime minister said that the price of oil on the world market was higher when he was in charge. But he said that by keeping fuel prices low, he had helped the people by making their lives easier.
“These imported rulers have raised the prices of fuel, electricity rates, and goods. The people want to know who put these corrupt rulers in charge of the country. They have to explain why they did this,” he said.
Imran said that the PTI government had given subsidies to the people, even though it had collected a record amount of taxes, instead of making the nation’s finances worse.
He said that the “directives” of the International Monetary Fund could cause another wave of inflation.
He said again that new elections are the only way to end the political instability in the country. He told the young people to be ready for his call to make the country truly free.
“IMF says that corruption is at the heart of the country’s bad economy,” he said, adding that the government has only made things worse in the last four months.
“Inflation is going through the roof, but the economy is in shambles,” he said, restating his belief that “thieves” are being put in charge of the country by a group of conspirators.
“The country is looking for answers from those who have lied to them,” he said.
