Web Desk (LTN NEWS): On Sunday, a group of PML-political N’s opponents in London heckled and bothered Minister of Information Marriyum Aurangzeb while she was in a coffee shop.

The minister went to a café near the Marble Arch station to buy coffee. When she got there, a group of PTI supporters surrounded her, started yelling at her, and started filming her.

The woman who supported PTI kept going after her with inappropriate accusations and also said she was a thief.

A woman yelled in the coffee shop, “Marriyum Aurangzeb is spending money that was stolen from Pakistan in London.”

The PTI protesters swarmed around Marriyum and wouldn’t leave her alone, even though it looked like she was taking a break from her job as a minister.

After the video of the incident went viral on social media, people like Mariyum’s PML-N colleague Miftah Ismail and Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, the daughter of PPP co-chairperson Asif Zardari, came to the minister’s defense and criticized the PTI for promoting hatred and bad behavior among its supporters, who harass people who don’t agree with their party’s ideas.

Mariyum also talked about being attacked and harassed in the coffee shop. She called it a “toxic effect” of Imran Khan’s politics of hate and division.

“I stayed and answered all of their questions. They have fallen for IK’s lies, which is sad. We will keep trying to stop IK’s poisonous politics and bring people together,” she sent in tweets.

Miftah wrote on Twitter, “I salute my sister @Marriyum A for her grace and composure in the face of such harassment and lies from that rude woman (who can be heard but thankfully cannot be seen).”

“Ugly trolls are silent on Imran Khan being caught stealing from charity, calling Osama bin Laden a Shaheed, calling victims of terrorism blackmailers, and justifying rape on clothing,” Bakhtawar tweeted in support of Mariyum’s strength in the face of trolls.

One person on Twitter said, “Massive respect.”

This is not the first time that people from the PTI chairman’s party have been rude to the information minister. This year, a group of people surrounded Aurangzeb and Minister for Narcotics Control Shahzain Bugti at the Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH) in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. They yelled insults at them and called them names. After the incident, at least five Pakistani people were taken into custody.

A journalist wrote “Not okay at all. Marriyum stay strong – everyone has a right to protest but this cannot be called protesting – This is outright harassment.”
