Long March vandalism case: Police clear PTI leaders

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Lahore Police has submitted a report to the Anti-Terrorism Court in which PTI leaders Yasmin Rashid and Shafqat Mehmood, along with others, were acquitted in the case of vandalism and damage to government property during the Long March.

According to the report submitted in the court, cases were registered against PTI leaders in Shafiqabad, Shahdara, Gulberg, and Bhati Gate police stations, while the police deleted the anti-terrorism provisions from the case.

It has been said in the report that the police no longer want to arrest the accused in these cases.

The PTI leaders withdrew the bail pleas after the police submitted the report to the court.
