Web Desk (LTN NEWS): PM Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday that Pakistan and Qatar had a clear idea of where they wanted to be in the future, with new opportunities and a better understanding of how to improve their relationships, especially in the area of economic cooperation.
As the prime minister was leaving Qatar after his first official two-day visit, he wrote on Twitter about the end of his “important” trip, which he took at the request of the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
“Heading back to Pakistan today after the conclusion of my important trip to Qatar. Thank you to the government & people of Qatar, especially my brother HH Sheikh @TamimBinHamad for the warm welcome & excellent hospitality. Two aspects of the visit are noteworthy,” the prime minister wrote on Twitter.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that there were two “important” things about his trip. The first was that Pakistan and Qatar had a clear vision of the future that offered new opportunities and paths in a world that is changing quickly.
Second, he said that both countries were becoming more aware of the need to improve their relationships by making economic cooperation the center of their ties.
