Lahore (LTN NEWS): The Muslim League-N has nominated Ali Haider Gilani, the leader of the People’s Party, for the Deputy Speaker in the Punjab Assembly. Deputy Speaker Ali Haider Geelani will submit the papers for the Punjab Assembly in the Assembly Secretary’s Office.
It should be remembered that yesterday Sabatin Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was elected Speaker of the Punjab Assembly by getting 185 votes while his opponent Muslim League-N candidate Saif Mulk Khokhar got 175 votes.
Just yesterday, the Punjab Assembly passed a no-confidence motion against Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari.
