Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder member Akbar S. Babar says that PTI made him several offers after the decision of the Election Commission was saved in the prohibited funding case.
He said that I have never been expelled from Tehreek-e-Insaaf, there are decisions in my favor, and the Election Commission says that I am a member. Akbar S. Babar revealed that during the 8-year period of this case, I received death threats, PTI’s own people came and told me that this kind of planning is being done against him.
It should be noted that in 2014, this case was filed in the Election Commission by the founder member of PTI, Akbar S. Babar, after which the decision of this case was reserved on 21 June 2022 after an 8-year long hearing.
The Election Commission while pronouncing the decision on the prohibited foreign funding case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf said that PTI took prohibited funding, and a show-cause notice has also been issued to PTI when the prohibited funding was proved.
The decision has said that why their prohibited funds should not be confiscated, the Election Commission office should also start the rest of the process according to the law, and a copy of the decision has been issued to the federal government.
