In Dera Ghazi Khan, rain has continued since last night in the city and Mount Sulaiman, where a high-level flood line is passing in the Vidorbarsati River, while the water level in the Rainfed Rivers is continuously increasing due to rain.
The nearby settlements on Quetta Road were flooded due to the breach of the protective embankment on DG Khan’s Sakhi Sarwar Road.
According to the Political Assistant, land routes are still cut off in the tribal areas on the ninth day and 90 percent of the slum houses have been damaged in the tribal areas where the relief work is going on.
The Punjab-Baluchistan highway is still closed due to landslides at Girdu in DG Khan.
