Celebrations started in LAHORE for Independence Day. Flags are vacillating all around the areas, cities, and roads. Children start enjoying the day of independence with enthusiasm. 

Children are celebrating Independence day with great zeal and passion. Showing love towards their country.

Pakistan and India, which celebrate 75 years of independence from Britain next week, share deep cultural and linguistic links but their history has been mired in violence and bloodshed.

The throng are so near to the border that they can see the faces of the people on the other side. Energetic masters of ceremony and ear-piercing nationalistic anthems rile up the crowds while Pakistani and Indian flags flutter from enormous poles.

It is a source of pride for Pakistan and the Muslim world that the world’s premier military training institution, the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, honored General Bajwa as Chief Guest on their passing out parade; a fitting platinum Independence Day honor for Pakistan and the Pakistan Army!

Preparations for Independence Day celebrations are underway at the National Hockey Stadium for the big Haqeeqi Azadi Gathering on August 13 at the Lahore Hockey Ground. The nation will celebrate its 75th birthday by singing the national anthem with Imran Khan at Hockey Stadium Lahore.
