Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari met Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai at the UN headquarters after going to New York for the UN General Assembly.
They talked about some of the problems with education in Pakistan, especially after the floods that destroyed so much of the country.
FM Bilawal wrote on Twitter that he and Malala had talked about women’s rights and girls’ education.
He also said that the two talked about the floods and the problems caused by the climate catastrophe. In particular, they talked about how to help the millions of young children who are still affected by the disaster get an education.

After his duties at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and Council of Heads of State (CHS) meeting was done, FM Bilawal flew to Washington to attend the 77th UNGA session.
FM Bilawal has a busy schedule that includes high-level meetings and events, bilateral meetings with a number of his counterparts, media and think-tank interactions, and chairing the Group of 77 (developing countries) and China Annual Meeting of Foreign Ministers, the OIC Annual Coordination Meeting of Foreign Ministers, and the meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir.
