Web Desk (LTN NEWS): After the IHC told the court to take out the part of the case about the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), the court made its decision.
Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) section of the terror case against PTI Chairman Imran Khan was taken out by the Islamabad High Court (IHC). On Wednesday, an anti-terrorism court sent the case to a session court.
Khan was charged with terrorism because he made threats against an additional session judge and police officers in the capital city while speaking at a political rally for his party.
In the anti-terrorism court in Islamabad, the case was being heard by Justice Raja Jawad Abbas Hassan.
Babar Awan, the lawyer for the PTI chief, went to court on his behalf and read the IHC’s order to take out the terror parts of the case.

After IHC’s order, Awan asked that the case be moved to the session court.
In response to Awan’s request, the judge at the anti-terrorism court said that no challan had been sent in for the removal to be processed and that another bail application must be given.
The judge asked, “Since we haven’t gotten the challan, the witness statement, or anything else, what should we transfer?”
The judge said that the court had only dealt with bail up until now and that because of the IHC’s order, it no longer has the power to do anything
Babar replied that there were other bail requests for September 27, but that the court could decide the rest.
The judge told Awan to resubmit the bail application, but Babar said they won’t take it back.
The court also asked Special Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi for his opinion and waited for him to show up at the hearing.
After the break, the court followed the IHC’s order and told Khan’s case to be moved to the next session.
In its order, the anti-terrorism court said that the accused person is free and can ask for the right place for bail
The court ruled on the bail petition of the head of the PTI.
