Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) says that Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived in Karachi on Friday and will visit the flood-hit areas of Badin (ISPR).
The military’s media wing said that COAS General Bajwa will also meet the troops who are helping people in Badin who were affected by the flood.
Earlier, COAS went to the Dadu district of Sindh, which he called the “most-affected” area, to see the damage caused by the floods.
COAS told the media that he had been to almost all of Pakistan’s flood-affected areas, such as Othal, Naseerabad, Rajanpur, Swat, Larkana, Shahdadkot, and Khairpur.

Even though rescue work is almost done in most places, we still send helicopters and boats to help people who have been bitten by snakes, hurt, or are sick, the army chief said.
He also said that around 500,000 people lived in Dadu City, but that number had grown to around 1 million because of flooding in the area.

COAS also praised the district commissioner, who worked with the army to build walls around the city to save it.
COAS also spent Defence and Martyrs Day in parts of Balochistan that had been hit by floods. He went to the army flood relief camp in the district of Usta Muhammad of Jafferabad, where he was told about the ongoing rescue and relief efforts.
The head of the army met with troops and thanked them for what they were doing to help flood victims. He also went to flood relief and medical camps and spent time with locals to find out how plans to help them will work in real life.
He also went to Sui, where he talked to older people and asked about their health and problems. The elders thanked the army chief for trying to help them during a hard time.
