Web Desk (LTN NEWS): On Tuesday, the father of Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam said that the team’s victory over England was due to their unity, confidence, determination, and the prayers of the whole country.
Babar’s father, Azam Siddiqui, posted these happy pictures on Instagram from London to congratulate the Pakistani team on becoming the first team to win all 200 T20Is.
Siddiqui wrote on social media, “I think today, not the Pakistan cricket team, but its unity, spirit of doing something, trusting each other, and the nation’s prayers, as well as admiration for their team, have won.”
Azam’s father liked how determined the team was to win. He said, “The courageous [team] won the match with courage, and our courageous nation would know this better than anyone else.”
“Pakistan Zindabad” was the last thing he said in his Instagram post.
So far, both Pakistan and England have won two of the seven games in the series.
The first four games were played in Karachi, and the rest were played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
