Web Desk (LTN NEWS): FIA has obtained details of three bank accounts opened by PTI in Karachi in the investigation of the PTI prohibited funding case.
According to investigative sources, these accounts were opened in the Zamzam branch of a private bank in the year 2005.
Sources said that in the accounts opened in the name of PS 113 PTI, there were transactions of 3 crores 94 lakh 71 thousand 630 rupees while the said bank account was used from 2011 to July 2012.
According to the sources, there were transactions of Rs 10 lakh 77 thousand 850 in the account of PTI Women Wing, while the account was reactivated in February 2016 after December 2011, the amount deposited till December 2011 was withdrawn in February 2016.
Sources further said that the third account opened in the name of PTI had transactions worth Rs 87 lakh 273. This account opened in 2011 was also deactivated in 2016.
Sources say that the FIA has also asked for the records of the people who deposited the money.
