KP Govt to increase aid to flood victims: Prime Minister

Tank (LTN NEWS): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has requested the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to increase the aid amount for the flood victims.

Speaking in Tank, the Prime Minister said that the KP government should increase the relief amount for the flood victims and it would be better if the amount should be Rs 8 to 10 lakh.

He said that the Balochistan government is also giving Rs 10 lakh to the families of those who died in the flood, Rs 5 lakh to the owner of a house completely destroyed by the flood, and Rs 2 lakh to the part affected house.

The Prime Minister said that after completing the visit to the affected areas, he will hold a meeting with the provincial governments in a day or two.

Shahbaz Sharif said to give my greetings to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, everyone is working together for the flood victims and the work that is being done under the supervision of the Chief Minister is a very good thing, we need the same equality.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister announced that Tank Road will be built by the federal government.
