According to the sources, it has been proposed to remove levies and duties on the import of onion and tomato to reduce the prices, while it has been decided to immediately send it to the Economic Coordination Committee for summary approval.
Sources said that there may be a shortage of tomatoes and onions for the next three months, the import of onions and tomatoes will reduce the prices in the local market.
On this occasion, Naveed Qamar said that the Ministry of National Food Security will continue to review the issue of prices and availability.
