Web Desk (LTN NEWS): From September 19-23, the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will be held in New York. From September 19-23, PM Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will be there to take part in high-level discussions.

On September 23, PM Shehbaz will speak to the UN General Assembly. The main focus will be on the problems Pakistan is facing because of the recent floods that were caused by the weather.

PM Shehbaz will explain how we can all work together to deal with the existential threat that climate change poses.

In a press release on Sunday, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said that the prime minister will also talk about Pakistan’s position and point of view on important regional and global issues, such as Jammu and Kashmir, which has been on the UN’s list of unresolved disputes for a long time.

During his time there, the foreign minister, other members of the cabinet, and senior officials will be with PM Shehbaz.

In addition to the UNGA Session, PM Shehbaz will take part in the “Global Food Security Summit,” which is being put on by the African Union, the European Union, and the United States, and a closed-door Leaders Gathering on COP-27, which will bring together some world leaders to talk about climate change. These will be important places to talk about the effective steps that need to be taken on a global scale to deal with the two biggest problems the world is facing right now.
