Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The price of diesel has stayed the same, but the prices of kerosene and light diesel have gone down by Rs8.30 and Rs4.26 respectively.
On Wednesday, the government raised the price of a litre of gasoline by Rs1.45; the change will take effect on September 21.
The price of gasoline has gone up from Rs235.98 per litre to Rs237.43 per litre. But the price of diesel has stayed the same.
In a tweet sent around 2 a.m. today, the Ministry of Finance dropped the petrol bomb.
The price of kerosene has gone down by Rs8.30, making the new price per litre of kerosene oil Rs202.02.
Also, the price of a litre of light diesel has gone down by Rs4.26 to Rs197.28.
In August, the government raised the price of a litre of gasoline by Rs1.71.
