COAS to visit areas in Dadu district

Web Desk (LTN NEWS): ISPR said on Sunday that COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa, will visit parts of Sindh that are far away in the Dadu district.

COAS will meet the people who have been hurt by the floods at relief and medical camps in the area. He will also talk to soldiers from the Pakistan Army who are helping with rescue and relief efforts.

Later, COAS will be flown over the flood-damaged areas of Dadu, such as Khairpur Nathan Shah, Johi, Meher Tehsil, and Manchar Lake.

A statement from the military’s media wing said that COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa spent Defence and Martyrs Day in flood-hit parts of Balochistan that were far away.

ISPR said that COAS went to army flood relief camp in Usta Muhammad of Jafferabad district. There, he will be told about the ongoing rescue and relief efforts.

The head of the army met with troops and thanked them for what they were doing to help flood victims. “COAS went to flood relief and medical camps and spent time with locals to find out how plans are going to help them,” the report said.
