Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Planning, Development, and Special Projects Minister Professor Ahsan Iqbal said on Thursday that the current government is committed to increasing Pakistan’s exports by $100 billion in the near future. He also asked the country’s chambers of commerce and industries to do their part to increase exports.
Ahsan Iqbal said these things while he was in charge of a meeting to promote a business-friendly environment and increase exports.
The President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and some people from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs were at the meeting.

Ahsan Iqbal said that government would help the business community and ask the country’s chamber of commerce to do its part in increasing exports.
Ahsan Iqbal also said that the solution to Pakistan’s economic problems was to encourage private sector investment and exports.
Ahsan Iqbal also said that there was an urgent need to link businesses with global chairs and urged the business world to take a market-driven approach to get a place in the global market. Minister said that the country’s economy should be based on making money instead of spending it.
Improving the economy is important for the country’s survival and safety.
Ahsan Iqbal went on to say that the recent floods had done a lot of damage to the country’s economy, but that the government was committed to getting the flood-damaged areas back on their feet quickly. He also urged the business community to help with relief efforts.
