Web Desk (LTN NEWS): Prime Minister directed to start of work on the solar energy project on an emergency basis and said that instead of generating electricity by ordering expensive oil, electricity should be generated from solar energy.
According to the sources of the Power Division, 10,000 megawatts of electricity will be generated from solar power under the solar energy project. In the first phase, government buildings and tube wells will be transferred to the solar system.

The prime minister directed the early construction of solar power plants and also directed to provide sufficient relief in electricity supply to the people by next summer.
Under the project, solar power will be provided to domestic consumers using less units.
