Web Desk (LTN NEWS): The National Disaster Management Authority said that at least 19 people have died in the last 24 hours because of severe flash floods in Pakistan. This brings the total number of people who have died due to floods to 1,186.
The NDMA put out a report with the most recent numbers.
The NDMA report says that 12 of the most recent deaths happened in Sindh, 4 in KP, and 3 in Balochistan. Nine children were amongst the dead.
The disaster management agency said that 256 people were hurt across the country because of the floods.
The report said that the flash floods hurt 80 districts of the country a lot.
The NDMA report said that 256 people died in Balochistan, 268 people died in KP, 188 people died in Punjab, 22 people died in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 41 people died in AJK.
There are 244 women and 416 children among the dead. At the same time, the number of people hurt by the terrible flood reached 4896.
